I’ve recently began building a personal tabletop arcade system based on the Raspberry Pi 2 and the RetroPie OS. So far, I have an entire cabinet prototype built from cardboard.
The cabinet houses a Raspberry Pi 2 which is currently attached to the Raspberry Pi 7″ Touchscreen Display. Attached to the Pi I have a USB keyboard, Bluetooth Adapter, and a Logitech F310 USB Gamepad.
The Pi is running the latest SD Image of the RetroPie Project with great success. I’ve loaded about 30 various roms from Atari2800 up to SNES. Including titles like Mrs. Pacman, Mario Bros. and Sonic.
The next step is to take the prototype cabinet and begin the build with wood. Stay tuned…
